The Low Voltage Systems Integration Engineer will contribute to the design and development of Low Voltage systems and be responsible for ensuring reliable performance. You will lead system-level design activities and work side by side with various cross-functional teams to support product design, vehicle behaviors definition, prototype bring-up, and validation with a system level focus. The Passive Safety Integration Engineer will be responsible for complete end to end integration of electrical passive safety components and participate in the system level design activities for the subsystem. You will be the point person for anything passive safety related on this platform and lead the bring up and crash activities in each of the vehicle builds. You will Conceptualize, Design, Engineer, Develop and support the launch of next-generation vehicle platforms for electric vehicles. What you?ll be able to do:?Lead the integration efforts for various electrical passive safety components, such as the restraints control module, pressure sensors, cut-loops, etc.?Instrument crash test vehicles and conduct experiments to prove crashworthiness of the platform; analyze results and submit thorough reports.?Participate in crash safety, functional safety and failure avoidance analysis of complex electrical and software vehicle subsystems (HARA, FMEAs, etc.).?Develop the passive safety architecture and related vehicle features; work with the hardware, software, architecture, safety and other cross-functional teams to deliver said features.?Work with the design and development engineers throughout the engineering organization to ensure passive safety components have appropriate packaging, requirements and interface definition to achieve their specific vehicle functions.?Develop detailed electrical device transmittals for various passive safety components and own the document until production.?Design test-cases and verification of system level functions on multiple mediums (benches, lab cars and vehicles) and provide objective based directions to the vehicle safety, simulation, design and test teams.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. This role is critical to contributing to financial and operational success of federal programs, in particular with EVMS reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), with deep experience in federal contracting, financial analysis, and business integration.Responsibilities:?EVMS Implementation & Integration: As PCO Lead, collaborate with internal and external teams to provide compliant EVMS implementation and reporting aligned with ANSI/EIA-748 guidelines.
