We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to work onsite in Irvine Monday – Friday. You will do the following:?Prepare, process, transmit, audit, and distribute the weekly/biweekly payroll through the HRIS.?Perform all activities necessary to process multiple payrolls and preparing special reports for management.?Resolves payroll discrepancies by running reports, answering questions, and responding to requests for payroll information.?Implement and assure compliance with wage and hour laws and company payroll policies.?Provide support to human resources, corporate accounting, and payroll-related and tax-related vendors.?Ensure the accuracy, validity, and timeliness of all payroll-related tax filings and tax issuances (such as the annual W-2s).?Liaison with external auditors on annual payroll-related audits.?Work closely with the HR Staff in managing time and attendance for employees on Leave.?Prepare, review, and reconcile company payroll-related billings and submit payment on time.?Documenting and updating payroll procedures to ensure the accurate processing and recording of the Company?s payroll information.?Demonstrates continuous effort to improve division and/or department operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service. ?Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Job Summary:The Underwriting Assistant supports Underwriters and communicates with agents and their customers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to apply past knowledge to new situations. Key duties include preparing surety bond documents accurately and promptly, receiving and applying payments, and delivering bond documents to principals.
