This initiative involves modernizing critical infrastructure to meet Federal compliance standards. The Technical Service Representative is responsible for managing and executing service delivery under the DC Government citywide electronic security contract. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with contract oversight, compliance management, and performance accountability. This position serves as a technical representative for DC Government agencies, ensuring that access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems are maintained in accordance with contract SLAs, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Technical experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems Manage preventative maintenance schedules, ensure standard response times are met, and emergency response in accordance with contractual SLAs Serve as technical rep for DC Government agencies under the citywide security contract Participate in agency meetings and provide service updates and performance reporting Support contract renewals, modifications, and pricing requests. Insight Global is looking to hire a Top Secret cleared Senior Network Security Engineer in the Washington, DC area. Responsibilities include:?Plans, coordinates, and implements the organization?s information security. ?Analyzes requirements and potential solutions for technical and economic feasibility. ?Design optimized firewall and IPS rule structure and ensures standards are maintained. ?Monitors and maintains health of all firewalls/IPS and recommends improvements. ?Develops and maintains documentation of firewall/IPS procedures. ?Develops and maintains complex schematics relating to network security. ?Researches, evaluates, recommends, designs, tests, and implements new network security technologies. ?Displays expert knowledge of current security tools and practices. ?Under general guidance, provides support to network engineers. Compensation: $65.00/hr to $70.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
