Remote VM Engineer

Washington, DC

In this role, you will provide day-to-day engineering and operational support for a complex enterprise infrastructure environment, including VMware, Windows, Linux, storage, and networking systems. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining VMware technologies such as vSphere/vCenter 8.x, VMware Aria, Horizon, SRM, and vCloud Suite while ensuring optimal system performance, availability, and reliability. You will monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, perform patching and upgrades, execute backup and recovery operations, and respond to system alerts to maintain operational compliance. The position also supports SAN storage integrations, enterprise networking, and data management initiatives. Working closely with infrastructure teams, you will contribute to architecture planning, system migrations, and modernization efforts focused on cloud readiness. Additional responsibilities include developing PowerShell automation solutions, conducting security hardening and audit activities, optimizing system performance, decommissioning outdated resources, and recommending continuous improvements to the overall infrastructure environment.Compensation:$55/hr to $60/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Traveling Regional Operations Manager- NCR

Washington, DC

Insight Global is looking to bring on a Regional Operations Manager out of the DC area, who is open to traveling across the NCR region to supervise field technology specialist teams in support of a Federal client. The Regional Operations Manager is a critical role responsible for overseeing the deployment and maintenance of resources and personnel in the field. This role ensures successful execution of technology system implementation and ongoing maintenance activities across multiple project sites. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams through installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
