Thursday: 8:00am – 1:30pm (occasional Fridays)Option 2: Monday – Thursday: 5:00pm – 10:30pm (occasional Fridays)About the RoleThe Medical Assistant Instructor is responsible for providing subject matter instruction to students in a classroom or lab setting. This position is required to teach assigned classes as scheduled or as assigned, and perform administrative functions related to teaching.Key DutiesTeach classes on a regularly scheduled basis assigned and create a welcoming environment for students that is conducive to learning.Assist Program Coordinator, Campus Director of Education, or Campus Executive Director in developing curriculum, preparing course materials, class scheduling, and maintaining tools and equipment used by students.Maintain a neat and orderly classroom or lab.Establish and maintain academic and attendance records for student files. Medical Assistant InstructorSubmit attendance, grades, student evaluations, and all other reports/documentation to Supervisor or appropriate personnel as required by established procedures.Notify Supervisor of any current or potential issues which warrant immediate attention.Utilize proven retention techniques approved by the school to assist students.Complete performance-based teacher education modules as assigned by Supervisor, based on outcomes of classroom observations, instructor evaluations, and student completed surveys.Attend and/or conduct in-service training, faculty meetings or other mandatory meetings.Assist with the department equipment and supplies inventory and submit replenishment requests to Supervisor or appropriate personnel.Alert Supervisor to student absences, especially on first, third and fifth absence occurrences.Perform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.Required QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. Insight Global is looking for a Marine Fiber Optic Technician to support our client in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. This technician will install, run, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cable aboard marine surface vessels. This role will be based in a shipyard environment and will have mandatory OT opportunities. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 6 am – 2:30 pm.
