Insight Global is hiring experienced Outside Machinists with strong marine and shipyard backgrounds to support aircraft carrier (CVN) maintenance, overhaul, and modernization programs at NOB and NNSY. In this role, you will perform precision mechanical work on critical shipboard systems, restoring, aligning, installing, and testing cargo elevators, weapon elevators, door hatches, and conveyors. WHAT YOU WILL DO:This role is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft carrier elevators, cargo handling systems, vertical stores conveyors, and related equipment. The individual will diagnose and resolve malfunctions efficiently while applying a strong understanding of production processes and technical procedures to complete assignments. Responsibilities may include leading and directing other team members, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing complex, non-routine tasks both within and outside their primary specialty to ensure successful completion of installations and work assignments. The Breast Ultrasound Technologist works directly with the operations manager, the office manager and any other staff assigned to the location. The Sonographer will perform clinical breast ultrasound procedures utilizing a background in anatomy, physiology, physics, and instrumentation to provide technical information to aid the radiologist in diagnosis. A sonographer must also possess certain values and abilities, including social perceptiveness, critical thinking, clear communication, active listening, and patient problem sensitivity.Essential Job Functions:- Operates Ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body?s organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.- Train and evaluate new and current sonographers- Act as a liaison between the sonographers and the radiologists- Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical function, pathology, and anatomical data.- Records test results in written form with comparisons to the radiologist.- Inspects and maintains ultrasound equipment as specific by the manufacturer.- Explains the ultrasound procedure to patients to ensure comprehensive understanding of the test.- Presenting images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team- Work closely with the Mammography technologists and – – – Radiologist to ensure the capture of appropriate information and prior imaging.- Review all prior images and reports before completing an exam.- Utilize PACS, RIS, EMR and any other systems related to imaging.- Work closely with the Office manager and support staff to ensure a positive and efficient patient experience.- Maintains supplies necessary for the ultrasound department.Functions – % of timeComplete Ultrasound Scans – 65%Complete and Document Patient History – 20%Converse with Radiologist about Ultrasound Images – 10%Answer Calls from patients and physicians with questions about Ultrasound Services – 5%Additional Job Functions:- Complete all assigned compliance and education requirements.- Assist in special projects.- Other duties as assigned.- Training of other technologists as needed.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Insight Global is seeking a TS Cleared CANES Systems Engineer to support a high-visibility Navy modernization effort with one of our defense industry partners. This individual will join a fast-paced pilot program focused on improving and automating the deployment, integration, and long-term sustainment of Agile Core Services (ACS) and OpenShift environments within the Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) ecosystem.This position is ideal for an engineer who can operate independently, solve complex technical challenges, and confidently contribute in highly technical discussions with minimal oversight. The team is looking for someone who can “hit the ground running” and help drive the success of a pilot program supporting deployments across multiple Navy platforms.The preferred location is Norfolk, VA, though candidates located in Charleston, SC or San Diego, CA will also be considered.
