A company that develops high-energy laser systems for the department of defence is looking for a Senior Program Scheduler to join their finance team. This person will be an absolutely crucial addition to the company, and have a large hand in advocating for the needs, deadlines, budgets, and efficiencies of the program teams they support. This person will support solely government projects, and maintain at least 3 separate schedules at one time. The primary responsibilities include:- Managing programs across the state of Colorado- Creating visuals to provide updates to stakeholders and executives- Advocating for necessary project schedule updates to leaders- Building and maintaining schedules considering critical path analysis, resource loads, and work breakdown structuresThis person will be largely in charge of tracking milestones, forecasting delays before they happen, identifying risks, and keeping projects on track.The ideal candidate has strong skills in Microsoft Project, and has a motivated, creative personality. The salary range for this position is between $120,000-$160,000, but actual compensation details will be based on previous work experience, hard and soft skills, and interview outcomes. The Manager, Electrical Engineering is responsible for the electrical systems of the KARNO generator, including high-voltage power electronics, battery systems, low- and high-voltage architecture, wiring harnesses, and the hardware that converts linear motion into electrical output. This is a working manager role: the position leads and develops a team of electrical engineers while remaining directly involved in technical execution, including circuit architecture, schematic review, and hardware bring-up in the lab. The Manager is accountable for the technical excellence, safety, and reliability of the electrical engineering function, and for establishing the design standards and review practices the team works to. The position plans team capacity, owns hiring and development for the electrical engineering staff, and partners with mechanical, controls, supply chain, and program management on system integration. We are seeking a highly creative and hands-on Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of advanced manufacturing equipment used in TRISO fuel production and microfluidic kernel formation processes. This role is focused on rapid product development and iterative engineering, requiring an individual who can evaluate existing systems, identify opportunities for improved throughput, scalability, quality, and reliability, and develop innovative mechanical solutions from concept through operational deployment. The successful candidate will design, prototype, test, troubleshoot, and refine equipment involving microfluidics, fluid handling systems, flow and pressure balancing, machine vision integration, particle sorting technologies, automation, and process equipment. Working closely with scientists, manufacturing personnel, and operations teams, this engineer will create manufacturable solutions, develop detailed assemblies, fabrication packages, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and supporting design documentation, while participating directly in hands-on assembly, testing, debugging, and continuous design improvement. The ideal candidate thrives in early-stage technology development environments, understands design-for-manufacturing principles, and enjoys taking ownership of equipment through multiple build-test-learn iterations rather than focusing primarily on late-stage qualification, documentation, or regulatory activities.
