A company is looking for a multiple Distribution Design Engineers to join their team. This engineer will aide in the upgrades of a major energy providers distribution grids. They will be in charge of scheduling and developing construction plans for the project work. This person will create work packages, create construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope or work schedule. This person will be in charge of owning their own field work where they will be taking notes, pictures, measurements and will ultimately be in charge of the designing the project construction plans. The work will be developed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools, Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client systems. The project work will require performing engineering calculations that may include: structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop and flicker, and coordination of protective devices.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Insight Global is seeking a Backend ESRI Developer for a local client. The GIS Platform Team is responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining a robust technological infrastructure that enables client stakeholders to reliably access, analyze, and operationalize spatial data. The GIS Solutions Analyst (Back-End Support) plays a key role in managing enterprise geospatial databases and backend systems, delivering high performance geoprocessing services, and optimizing the storage and infrastructure that underpin self service spatial analysis across the client?s AI enterprise. This role focuses on developing, tuning, and maintaining enterprise spatial databases?specifically Postgres/PostGIS?including schema design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization for high volume geospatial data. The analyst designs, builds, and deploys custom Python based geoprocessing tools and services that support complex routing workflows, scalable web applications, and high delivery velocity. Responsibilities also include extending Esri Enterprise GIS environments through custom data feeds, server administration, and high availability configurations; monitoring and optimizing system performance; troubleshooting storage and network bottlenecks; and proactively scaling infrastructure to support global operations. The newly formed GIS Platform Team is responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining a robust technological infrastructure that enables all client stakeholders to easily access, visualize, and leverage spatial data. The GIS Solutions Analyst (Front-End Support) plays a critical role in leading the development of custom GIS web applications and intuitive cartographic solutions, delivering a seamless ?one stop shop? portal that supports reliable spatial data integration, analysis, and self service across the client?s AI enterprise. This role focuses on designing and developing user friendly GIS applications and self service tools, extending ArcGIS Experience Builder through custom widgets and components, and integrating turnkey and commercial off the shelf solutions with custom codebases. The analyst will create visually compelling, high performing user interfaces that translate complex geospatial workflows into accessible experiences for non GIS users, while also architecting and managing a centralized, highly discoverable GIS portal with reusable UI standards and frontend best practices.
