This individual will play a critical role in the detailed design of containerized and modular data center systems, owning mechanical architecture from concept through manufacturing. Insight Global?s role within this program is to work on a research team who is supporting a long-term effort to make person-to-person communication in Virtual Reality indistinguishable from real life. This team’s core function is to collect user data, which in this case is scans of the persons face and body. We capture facial expressions, eye movement, voice, etc; to then build a virtual model of that person. From there, A.I. uses cameras embedded in the VR headset to predict their movements based off the data we collected. The result is a hyper realistic model of that person whose expressions (face, mouth, eyes, forehead wrinkles, etc.) change in real time even when they have a headset on.The System Integrator will work closely with the User Studies team to understand ongoing issues with capture stages and correct these issues to keep the stages operational for external participants.
