Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesManage compliance verification and validation activities across IT systems (individual contributor role; no direct reports).Ensure research-related systems are documented and aligned with regulatory and security requirements.Support ongoing compliance efforts related to NIST 800-171 by documenting security controls and validating implementation.Maintain compliance documentation for key research systems, including REDCap and other regulated platforms.Coordinate validation efforts when system changes, upgrades, or enhancements require re-assessment and re-validation.Partner with infrastructure, application support, testing, and security teams to validate technical controls and maintain documentation.Collaborate with data managers, project managers, and stakeholders supporting research and compliance initiatives.Provide support around Institutional Review Board (IRB)-related systems by ensuring documentation and controls are properly maintained.?Job DescriptionThe University ofPittsburgh’s Health Sciences Information Technology (HSIT) team is seeking aCompliance & Validation Manager to support ongoing security, compliance,and validation initiatives within research and regulated environments. Job Description:A client is seeking a client facing Senior ServiceNow Functional Lead to work on site in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will partner closely with the client Product Owner and collaborate with their offshore ServiceNow teams to drive priorities, clarify requirements, and support successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong Leadership skills, ServiceNow functional and ITIL process knowledge, Agile/Scrum experience, and familiarity with Field Service Management (FSM).Your future duties and responsibilities? Partner with the Product Owner to refine requirements, priorities, user stories, and acceptance criteria.? Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure requirements and delivery expectations are clearly understood.? Participate in scrum ceremonies, including stand ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.? Provide functional guidance based on ServiceNow capabilities, ITIL processes, FSM, and platform best practices.? Support backlog management, estimation, testing, release readiness, and production stabilization.? Communicate delivery status, risks, and recommendations to client and CGI stakeholders.?
