Job Description
The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing connectivity across all locations. This role supports business operations by managing LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-connected networks, troubleshooting complex network issues, and ensuring network availability and security.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, operate, and support a global enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN, WAN, and campus networks, including routing, switching, and network segmentation.
• Administer and maintain network security devices, including next-generation firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches.
• Perform firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and lifecycle management for all network hardware.
• Partner with internal application, infrastructure, and security teams to assess network dependencies, identify performance impacts, and translate business and application requirements into technical network solutions.
• Lead and support the deployment and expansion of enterprise network initiatives, including site rollouts, network refreshes, and capacity planning.
• Monitor network performance and availability using enterprise monitoring tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering
• Experience with Network segmentation
• Experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, FortiGate, and Meraki
• Azure/AWS networking experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with working with MSP
• Network certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, BS/MS in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
