The “Be The Light” tour, which will hit a dozen cities starting this fall via a Mobile Career Center, will help illuminate career opportunities for those who need it most. This new kind of experience will offer free access to Insight Global’s experts and local partners, all who will be onsite to provide one-on-one career counseling and readiness, as well as other ways to bolster career goals.
While the Mobile Career Center is designed to equip all job seekers with the tools and resources they need to successfully land their next – or first – job, it is so much more than that. Too often, people don’t feel like they are enough. They don’t see their own potential – a motivated and skilled person that just needs access to pursue what is possible. That’s exactly what we’re here to do – show them what their best career future can be if they believe in themselves and harness the power of their full potential.
We are steadfast in living out our purpose, which is to develop people personally, professionally and financially to be the light to the world around them. With that in mind, we view it as our responsibility to help strengthen the communities where we live and work the best way we know how – by empowering, equipping and exciting people about the possibilities of employment and the brighter future that comes with finding a new job or career.
We are doubling down on our commitment to remove barriers and meet people where they are to enable a better future. Our hope is to positively impact more than 15,000 job seekers by creating economic sustainability, bridging the gap by breaking generational poverty, and providing equal access and opportunity to all.
The “Be The Light” tour is open to everyone—in particular, AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander), BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color), first generation, unhoused individuals, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQIA, previously incarcerated, single-income families, veterans, women and young adults. Throughout the country, these communities are facing daunting barriers when it comes to entering the workforce—from social and economic inequality to disenfranchisement. Insight Global is on a mission to change that, and in turn, change lives.
There is no charge for the event or services. All interested individuals are asked to register in advance, and those who attend will continue to have support from Insight Global throughout their career journey.
The Mobile Career Center will feature the following experiences:
- One-on-one consultations with Insight global experts who will curate a personalized career experience.
- Career Readiness Workshops, including direct resume writing, honing interview skills and practical job hunting.
- Headshot Studio, where a professional photographer and stylist will take photos and help job seekers upload them to their LinkedIn profiles (and create a profile).
- Career Networking, where recruiters from Insight Global client partners will be on hand to speak to tips, tricks and best practices for job seekers and share opportunities that may be available.
- Child Care Services, with a dedicated space staffed by qualified childcare professionals.
