Insight Global officially celebrates 20 years of being in business this May! To celebrate, we’re sharing 20 pieces of Insight Global’s story that truly make us who we are. Enjoy!

1. Our purpose has never been more clear.

Insight Global’s purpose is to develop our people personally, professionally, and financially so they can be the light to the world around them.

2. It all started in a basement.

That’s right! Insight Global started in the basement of founder Glenn Johnson’s home in Atlanta, GA. After working in the staffing industry for many years, Glen had a different vision of what a staffing company should be. 20 years later we’re still going strong!

3. Today, we have 60+ offices in the US and Canada.

Soon after Insight Global’s founding in 2001, the company opened offices in Raleigh, D.C., Ft. Lauderdale, Dallas, Boston, and Silicon Valley. Since 2005, Insight Global has averaged opening three to five offices a year. There are now Insight Global offices in almost every major city in the US, and two offices in Canada.

4. Bert Bean became CEO in 2018.

Bert started as a Recruiter in our Atlanta office in 2005, and worked his way into leadership. He served in multiple leadership roles before becoming CEO upon Glenn Johnson’s retirement.

5. We serve several industries.

Today, Insight Global services multiple industries including IT, Accounting / Finance, Engineering, Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Administrative; and provide various services to clients in these industries including Staff Augmentation, Managed Services, Direct Placement and Executive Search. 6. Our Recruiters conduct over 2 million interviews with candidates a year.

Our Recruiters are dedicated to the relentless pursuit of opportunity for others. With that pursuit comes a lot of time interviewing quality candidates for their perfect opportunity.

7. We are obsessed with training and development.

Insight Global University (IGU) is focused on training, mentoring, and serving our internal employees. Each one of our employees matter, and we not only strive to develop them professionally through these training classes, but to develop them personally as well.

9. We reward people who live out our Shared Values.

Every year, Insight Global rewards 50 internal employees who embody our Shared Values the most (we call them “Titans”) by gifting them the trip of a lifetime. This year, it’s a week-long all-expenses paid trip for two to the Ritz Carlton in Maui.

11. We are committed to giving back to others.

Giving back is very important to us. Insight Global’s Family Foundation was created to provide financial assistance to Insight Global employees (both internals and consultants) experiencing unexpected hardships. Additionally, each of our branch offices support a local charity mission of their choosing to serve every year in addition to company-wide philanthropic initiatives. We also allocate money annually for each office to donate to a non-profit organization they are passionate about! This year Insight Global has partnered with OneWorld Health to raise the capital necessary to build a medical center in Kynejojo, Uganda.

From those initial 2 million interviews a year, 200,000 candidate interviews with enterprise customers are set up and 60,000 consultants are placed annually.
