Insight Global is looking for a Distribution Design Engineer for one of our large engineering consulting firms. This engineer will aide in the upgrades of a major energy providers distribution grids.- Develop design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems operating from 4kV through 138kV mostly associated with programmatic work such as overloaded transformers, inspection and maintenance, joint use, and inspection reports.- Comply with the company and Client Safety requirements as well as design and quality expectations.- Perform engineering calculations such as: structural analysis for wood pole loading, guying calculations, specifying conductor sags and tensions for recommended spans, and calculation of voltage drop and flicker. – Develop permitting documents for different AHJ’s. – Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met. – Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Job SummaryInsight Global is looking for a mid-level Brand Designer to help shape and scale a unified global brand as the company continues to grow. This designer will translate brand strategy into consistent, high-quality design work across print, digital, experiential, presentations, and branded merchandise, while also supporting brand governance, templates/toolkits, and brand enablement systems like Brand Central and a Digital Asset Management library. Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Technician for a large engineering consulting firm in Augusta, SC. The ideal candidate will perform regular testing, observation, and inspection of construction projects. They will communicate about the project site and project requirements with the PM, other engineering technicians, and the client. Each day, they will go to the office to meet with their manager, go to the job site, perform necessary responsibilities for the client; check-in with the PM with testing results; and contact dispatcher for another assignment or go home if work is complete.
