Insight Global is looking for an Application Support Engineer to support business-critical investment applications (RRSP, TFSA, RESP) in a 24/7 production environment. This role focuses on server-side application support, incident management, release support, and troubleshooting, working closely with internal development teams and a third-party vendor (Broadridge). This is a high-impact role supporting systems that directly affect branch operations and investment trading. We are looking for candidates who have experience supporting critical, customer-facing systems ideally in Banking/Financial services and/or Wealth Management. We are seeking a highly communicative, outgoing Business Analyst. The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, facilitating discussions, and confidently driving conversations to clarity. This role plays a critical role in translating business needs into delivered solutions across a large, complex enterprise environment for a Centre of Excellence.Day-to-day:? Partner with Lines of Business across a Big 5 banking client to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to eForm and eSignature use cases? Act as the primary requirements owner, translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for delivery teams? Lead backlog management activities including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, prioritizing work, and supporting sprint planning? Drive end-to-end delivery of eForm and eSignature integrations across platforms and processes, ensuring requirements are implemented as intended? Collaborate closely with BAs, designers, developers, QA, and platform teams to support solution design and execution? Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, and stakeholder discussions to align on scope, dependencies, and delivery approach? Support system and integration implementations, including validation of data flows, form behavior, and eSignature workflows? Review and validate delivered solutions through UAT and acceptance activities, ensuring alignment to business and compliance needs? Manage change requests, scope updates, and trade-off decisions throughout the delivery lifecycle? Serve as a visible point of contact for stakeholders, proactively communicating status, risks, and delivery progress? Insight Global is looking for an individual to join a top bank in downtown Toronto for a 12-month contract position. The role supports the end-to-end market risk analytics and reporting process, with a strong emphasis on Python and automation.The successful candidate will spend roughly 50% of their time on daily reporting and 50% on automation and improvement initiatives. The team is looking for a forward-looking individual who proactively identifies opportunities to improve and automate existing processes rather than maintaining the status quo.This team is responsible for delivering accurate, complete, and timely market risk measurements while maintaining strong operational processes and controls. The group supports internal stakeholders as well as regulatory reporting requirements. The team is highly collaborative and consists of approximately 6 team members.Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Produce and support daily market risk reporting, primarily during morning hours- Execute scheduled and ad-hoc market risk processes accurately and on time- Monitor and analyze key market risk metrics, including Value at Risk (VaR), Stress testing, Trading limits, Daily P&L back-testing and investigation of exceptions- Upload and validate risk exposures within internal systems- Produce and maintain dashboards and reporting outputs- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automate manual workflows- Work on several mini automation projects using Python- Support strong governance, controls, and documentation in line with regulatory standards- Assist with internal and external audit requests as neededWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
