Insight Global is looking for an Accountant to join the Commercial and Corporate Controllership team at a major bank! The incumbent will be accountable for the integrity of the financial and management information used for reporting and business analysis. The role requires accountability for the data integrity of the general ledger, investigating and reporting discrepancies, overseeing the completion of the month-end reconciliation process, and supporting the team with ad-hoc requirements and project initiatives. Insight Global is hiring for a Manager of Consolidated Accounting with a strong foundation financial reporting, and foreign exchange (FX) analysis. This individual will support consolidated financial reporting and FX exposure analysis within a complex, multi-entity and multi-currency environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term conversion.This role will be responsible for preparing and supporting consolidated financial statements, contributing to financial disclosures, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. A significant portion of the role focuses on analyzing multi-currency exposures, determining FX positions, and partnering with Treasury to support hedging strategies and risk mitigation efforts.On a day-to-day basis, the incumbent will extract and analyze transactional financial data using advanced Excel functions, including Power Query, to streamline reporting and improve data accuracy.
