Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded.? Sample preparation, processing detection sponges, plate reading.? Responsible for preparatory processing of incoming samples, in compliance with all applicable standard operating procedures and quality systems.? Experience with classic European vehicles, particularly Porsche, along with EFI, Bosch fuel systems, and electrical diagnostics, is highly valued.Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Build, Repair & Integration? Perform full vehicle tear-downs, assemblies, repairs, restorations, and upgrades? Execute subsystem and component-level work, including suspension, brakes, powertrain installation/removal, tire mounting and balancing, and interior installation/removal? Install custom, add-on, and specialty equipment using appropriate methods and locationsDiagnostics & Performance? Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, and performance issues using advanced diagnostic tools? Test, evaluate, and validate vehicle systems and performance data? We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical build and system integration projects in Madison, WI, serving as the primary technical interface for customers. This role is approximately 40% external-facing and includes customer and vendor discussions, RFIs, and cross-functional coordination, acting as a subject matter expert and liaison across engineering, production, and project management. You will drive system-level integration for medium- and low-voltage architectures involving batteries, fire and environmental protection systems, relay and control panels, switchgear, and related subsystems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities span feasibility through production, including delivery of electrical drawings and EBOMs, resolving integration issues during design, build, and test, supporting infrastructure initiatives, and providing technical leadership to production. The role also includes mentoring engineers, contributing to design reviews, and participating in regular project and stakeholder meetings.
