– Process approved orders for IT hardware, software, and services- Enter newly acquired assets into the asset management system (Freshservice)- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory, including:—–Adds, moves, changes, and deletions—-Hardware and software/license assignments- Support asset lifecycle updates and inventory accuracy- Assist with software license tracking and renewals- Support annual renewal projects and licensing audits- Maintain standard license and equipment stock levels- Prepare summaries and data for Technology Acquisition Planning Sessions (TAPS) (experience not required)- Provide reporting, research, and administrative support to IT leadership- Assist with ad hoc asset and procurement-related tasks as neededWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. This SDET will be working on a project at a global hotel chain to replace their reservation system. The current system is a green screen terminal application that is over 40 years old. The platform that they are migrating off of is an old Groovy framework, moving to Java. It needs to switch to a software as a service to handle the reservations. It will require all of the functionality from the old system to work on the new system. They will take the tests that work from the old system and have them work on the new system. This will be mostly back end and API testing, with hands on Java coding. They will work on a development team of engineers, developers, designers, and product owners.
