Insight Global is hiring a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager / Senior Engineer to support commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for an experienced civil/structural engineer who wants full ownership of projects, direct client interaction, and a clear path for continued professional growth.Construction Inspectors and Project Engineers in this role spend the majority of their time supporting construction-related activities that require specific certifications and field experience. You will oversee inspections, review technical data, manage project budgets, and ensure work is delivered safely, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable codes and specifications.Key Responsibilities:- Manage construction materials testing projects from proposal through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, leading pre-construction meetings, ongoing project updates, and closeout discussions (virtual or in-person)- Review construction drawings, structural plans, and specifications to ensure project alignment and compliance- Monitor project budgets, track deviations, and proactively communicate updates to clients- Review field reports from technicians and ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness- Analyze and interpret field and laboratory testing data to verify compliance with project requirements- Oversee inspections across multiple disciplines, including: – Structural steel, Concrete, Masonry, Fireproofing- Prepare and review proposals, scopes of work, RFIs, schedules, and invoices- Maintain project documentation, including uploading reports and deliverables to internal systems for client access and distribution- Support pre-task planning with field technicians and ensure alignment before project execution- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to junior engineers and field staff- Participate in business development efforts, including proposal drafting and client relationship buildingSalary Range: $77,200 to $98,400 (potentially higher with certain qualifications)We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Insight Global is seeking a Construction Inspector to support commercial construction projects. This role requires performing construction-related inspections that demand specific certifications and/or relevant field experience. Inspectors will be responsible for monitoring quality, ensuring compliance with building codes, construction drawings, and project specifications, and delivering clear, actionable reporting to project stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Review daily lab dispatches and plan inspection schedules for the following day- Travel to 2?3 project sites per day to perform field inspections- Conduct daily inspections of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to: – Building code requirements – Construction drawings – Project specifications- Perform inspections across multiple disciplines or within areas of expertise, including: – Structural steel, Concrete, Masonry, Fireproofing and firestopping- Complete visual and physical inspections as well as field testing to verify conformance with plans- Inspect structural steel components including fillet welds (e.g., 5/16 welds) and bolting systems- Support and/or perform non-destructive testing (NDT) such as magnetic particle testing- Prepare and submit detailed daily electronic inspection reports documenting observations and material testing results- Communicate findings to engineers, project managers, and contractors, and collaborate on solutions when neededRange for Construction Inspector I: $25.25 – $35.25Range for Construction Inspector II: $30.00 – $42.00We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
