Insight Global is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support Valero’s Routine Maintenance Enhancement (RME) program. This initiative focuses on improving refinery maintenance planning, scheduling, dispatching, and work management processes by enhancing existing SAP solutions and increasing operational visibility for business users.The project is approximately 20% complete, and this consultant will join an established team to help design, develop, and deliver enhancements throughout the remainder of the implementation. This role requires strong technical ABAP development skills, the ability to work independently from functional requirements, and comfort collaborating with both technical and functional stakeholders.While industry experience within oil & gas is preferred, candidates with strong SAP functional knowledge and experience supporting complex enterprise applications will also be considered.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and enhance SAP solutions within the S/4HANA environment.Partner with technical leads and SAP functional analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Develop and maintain custom ABAP applications, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and integrations.Create and optimize CDS Views and OData services to support business processes and reporting needs.Produce technical design documents and supporting development artifacts.Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified during testing and deployment activities.Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations.Maintain a strong understanding of the application’s architecture and database structure.Follow Valero development standards and change management processes.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Key Responsibilities:Inspect boxes used to ship biological products, remove packing materials, and refurbish those that are gently used. Breakdown and destroy boxes that appear to be contaminated and/or unusable. Prepare new boxes for customer sample submission. Prepare correspondence, reports, and records as directed. Assist with coordination of departmental communications and activities. Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies. Maintain departmental supplies within established inventory levels. Perform computer data entry. Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and quality requirements Participate in continuing education and attend meetings as required. Assist with training and/or mentoring of new employees and/or volunteers. Participate in team-oriented work projects for the development and implementation of validations, process improvements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Day To Day: ? Perform production line work, including box refurbishing, sorting, and stacking.? Operate manual pallet jacks for material movement.? Manage backlog and maintain workflow efficiency.? The Senior Airframe Vendor Maintenance Partner is the technical liaison between airline and vendors contracted to perform maintenance on the fleet, as well as between the airlines and manufacturers, leasing companies, and other airlines. This individual contributor position administers contracts between the airline and external vendors for heavy scheduled maintenance and modifications as well as drop-in repairs performed on aircraft, engines, or components. Key Duties?Administers contracts between the airline and vendors for repair work performed on aircraft, engines, or components.?Performs Exhibit II review against budget and work scope for all scheduled heavy maintenance visits.?Performs liaison duties on-site between the airline and assigned MRO for technical matters, delivery schedules, invoice discrepancies, warranty claims, and disposition of airline-owned materials.?Maintains and applies high level of technical knowledge on assigned aircraft to be able to guide and monitor work-in-progress ensuring all vendor workmanship is acceptable quality and that all work is accomplished in accordance with the work scope and in compliance with applicable specifications.?Maintains detailed and accurate records of discrepancies to support requests for procedural changes and claims for charge adjustments.?Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the general terms agreement and Contract Exhibits with assigned MRO and audits invoices as required to ensure billing is correct and in accordance with applicable terms and conditions.?Reviews and recommends changes to maintenance programs and work specifications, based on experience with conditions found in Aircraft undergoing major maintenance.?Partners with the airline and vendor engineering departments to ensure required technical information is provided on time and provides feedback regarding conditions found during work accomplished.?Apprises the Manager of Vendor Maintenance of any issues that may impact safety, quality, cost, or schedule of the aircraft while in vendor maintenance?Makes recommendations to changes in the work scope as outlined by the maintenance contract due to changing conditions discovered during maintenance, inspection or modifications of the Aircraft, and communicates proposed changes to relevant teams.?Performs root-cause analysis of significant aircraft discrepant conditions, either present on arrival or resulting from work performed during maintenance on Aircraft?Maintains an informed status of new developments in repair procedures and preventative actions to preclude maintenance problems.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
