A large industrial manufacturing company in San Diego, is seeking a NPI/CAD Business Analyst to join their team. The ideal resource who would be expected to know, or learn as needed, about ‘new product introduction’ (NPI) engineering or conceptual design processes/products/people AND about related PLM and CAD tools. This is to partner with our NPI business groups to solve problems and make improvements. These tools primarily include Siemens NX and/or PTC Creo Parametric using PTC Windchill for PLM. This role typically does not include day-to-day production support (but often will), but rather deals with relationships, communications, data, methods/processes, conventions (promoting commonality!), improvements, etc. Requires an ability to troubleshoot tough issues, write a clear problem statement or user story, understand and write requirements, and create optimal conceptual/solution designs which (as needed) can be used by developers in technical design & coding. Also requires significant project management, data management, and CAD/PLM software user skills. Computer science or deep technical knowledge is useful but not required. Our client is seeking a Tax Senior to join its Federal Income Tax team supporting a large, publicly traded organization. This individual will play a key role in preparing and analyzing quarterly and annual income tax provisions, SEC reporting requirements, tax compliance, forecasting, and regulatory reporting activities. This position offers significant exposure to tax accounting, cross-functional business partners, and senior tax leadership while providing a strong path for long-term career growth.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience preparing federal income tax provisions in a corporate environment and can confidently discuss ASC 740 concepts, effective tax rate calculations, deferred tax roll-forwards, and 10-Q/10-K reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare assigned portions of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.Support tax disclosures for SEC filings, including 10-Q and 10-K reporting.Assist with effective tax rate (ETR) calculations, deferred tax analyses, and tax account reconciliations.Prepare and analyze tax adjustments, forecasts, and provision-to-return calculations.Support federal income tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.Partner with accounting, finance, and other business teams to gather and analyze tax-related information.Research tax issues and assist with evaluating the impact of tax law changes.Respond to internal and external audit requests and maintain supporting documentation.Utilize technology and data analytics tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.This role is onsite four days a week and remote on Fridays.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
