An investment firm client is looking for a Communications Specialist to help put together PowerPoint decks, collaborate with different internal teams to produce webcasts, video content and assist in the clients social media initiatives. You will be responsible for assisting in the following: creating, editing and updating marketing materials including fact sheets, commentaries, articles and sales/client presentations. Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to join the Accurate Landing Team, focused on the development of next-generation reentry and recovery systems.This individual will play a critical role in designing and building mechanical systems for a rapidly evolving test vehicle program. The role is highly hands-on and spans the full product lifecycle?from concept development through build, integration, testing, and iteration.This is a high-ownership, small-team environment where engineers are expected to take systems from cradle to grave and adapt quickly as priorities shift.Key Responsibilities?Design and develop mechanical systems and mechanisms supporting accurate landing and recovery of reentry vehicles?Own mechanism development for: oParachute deployment systemsoControl actuation systemsoDrop test structures?Drive designs from concept through detailed CAD design, prototyping, manufacturing, and integration?Perform hand calculations and engineering analysis to inform design decisions?Lead design trades across performance, manufacturability, cost, and schedule?Support hands-on build activities including: oAssemblyoFit checksoIntegration troubleshooting?Participate in aerial drop test campaigns and support system validation?Qualify systems through environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal, load)?Collaborate closely with manufacturing, technicians, supply chain, and external vendors?Generate and review engineering drawings and ensure adherence to GD&T standardsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. An employer is looking for a Project Engineer for a Utility customer in the Southern California area. This individual will be part of the project intake team which receives and processes requests for PE support on different projects across the line of businesses. They will perform project scope definition work, which may involve site visits, research, and meetings with project managers, clients, discipline engineers, operations/maintenance personnel and other stakeholders. They will hold recurring and/or as-needed meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status, technical issues and otherwise advance the project. Generate and maintain project planning documents, such as Technical Statements of Work (TSOWs), engineering schedules, and action item lists. Ensure engagement of and progress by applicable disciplines and other resources to guide projects during initiation phase. Provide status reports and elevate issues as needed to the Company contact and project manager when appropriate.
