Position OverviewReporting to a Service Manager, this position provides troubleshooting, diagnostics and service activities on existing building automation systems under T&M service requests, planned service agreements, or small service projects.Independently performs troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs on building automation systems. May review and modify job specific programming for various systems; installs, reviews, modifies project databases, workstation builds and graphics.? Troubleshoots and resolves routine inconsistencies in the functions or sequence of operations; resolves minor systems issues. May update and configure PC workstations, user interfaces, data servers, IP Networking devices, routers, switches, mass storage devices and hubs. Diagnoses, and resolves routine network issues.? May independently coordinate network drops, IP address setup and deployment of monitoring tools with customer’s IT Department personnel; works with equipment vendors to coordinate communication protocols, encryption, and database requirements for integration to resolve customer system technical issues.? Independently able to work with building owners and managers to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency; assures customer acceptance; trains customers on system operations. This Role will support a large municipalities Information Technology Solutions (ITS) department with reporting, documentation management, purchasing workflows, mobility program updates, contractor tracking, and general departmental coordination. Responsibilities may shift as programs, grants, and organizational needs change.?Assist with consolidating documentation for quarterly grants reports and ongoing monthly updates.?Assist with contractor hour tracking, invoice reconciliation, and PO verification for Grants programs.?Save vendor SAM registrations and maintain audit ready records.?Research POs, contracts, budgets, encumbrances, and project details using financial systems.?Process mobility deactivations and update FIDs weekly?Identify data errors and assist the mobility team in correcting them.?Maintain and update dashboards for Grants projects?Create requisitions and dispatch purchase orders according to purchasing procedures?Submit combo code setup requests and budget transfer forms when instructed.?Pick up mail weekly, create events as needed, and support meeting setup and cleanup.100% onsite in Downtown Fort Worth.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. The IT Asset Management team is looking for an entry level Support Technician to help run the City’s software management process and keep the documentation behind it current. This person will work directly with our software management lead on day to day license administration in vendor portals for products like Microsoft, Adobe, and Canva, help move software requests through each step of our established process, and clean up and rewrite older procedures so they reflect how the work is actually done today. This is a good fit for someone early in their IT career who is organized, comfortable in Excel, and writes clearly.
