Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Assembly Technician to support the assembly of complex rake and optical probe assemblies. This role is focused exclusively on the hands-on assembly of standard instrumentation, including temperature measurement devices, thermocouples, and pressure-related components. The successful candidate will bring a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently on highly complex, multi-part assemblies. In addition to executing assembly tasks, this individual is expected to provide constructive technical feedback to the project lead regarding assembly processes, tooling, and opportunities for improvement. This role is well suited for someone with a prototype or fabrication background who is comfortable working in a build environment that requires precision, consistency, and thoughtful problem-solving. Along with instrumentation assembly, this candidate will be working with optical probes and familiarity with fiber optics is highly desired. This role is M-F, 40hr per week with occasional overtime. Purpose:This position will develop solutions to issues associated with bearing, steering, driveline manufacturing and steelmaking.? Advanced technical knowledge of material science will be used to improve existing bearing/ steering/driveline products, solve technical problems and develop new products and processes.? This position will also work closely with internal plants, customers and suppliers concerning any issue of performance or material properties.? This position also involves mentoring less experienced engineers in this field and creating unique analytical methods as needed.??Day-to-Day:Coordinate projects to solve problems related to bearing, steering and driveline material properties, steel cleanliness or heat treatment issues.Analyze data and develop a plan to determine the optimum solution or recommended actions.Analyze and recommend solutions or test programs for customer or supplier issues.Works as an advisor and professional staff with other associates to assist with problems in the specialty area.Develop new or improved products or processes to improve profitability or higher performance.Plans major continuous improvement or product development projects crossing multiple business units including world bearing/steering/driveline businesses and steel suppliers.Prepare technical reports from analysis results; including judgment of results.Perform other duties as assignedWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. The Project Manager is a jobsite-based position and will be responsible for leading commercial construction projects or defined project phases, with a high level of ownership over safety, schedule, cost, quality, and team performance.
