The Automation Testing SME, Script Developer and Tester is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual testing solutions to support multiple Grid Technologies projects. This role will primarily leverage Katalon Studio to design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, while providing hands-on testing support across a diverse portfolio of initiatives. Candidates with strong experience in Katalon Studio are preferred; experience with comparable automation tools and the ability to quickly learn Katalon will also be considered. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon StudioDesign reusable automation components and frameworks to improve testing efficiency across multiple projects.Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for client and cloud-based Web application, and end-to-end business process validation to improve software quality and testing efficiency.Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and testing documentation.Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams to resolve issues.Provide recommendations on automation best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.Support CI/CD and automated testing practices where applicable.Balance testing activities across multiple Grid Technologies projects, adapting to changing priorities and project needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions.Refactor and optimize existing automation assets to improve code quality, reduce maintenance effort, eliminate hardcoded values, and increase framework flexibilityManage automation source code repositories using GitLab, including branch management, code versioning, merge requests, code reviews, and adherence to source control best practices.Collaborate closely with QA Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify automation opportunities, and ensure appropriate test coverage.Analyze test execution results, investigate automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development teams to resolve defects and improve application quality.Monitor automation effectiveness, test coverage, execution trends, and quality metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. ?Lead the evolution of the organization’s enterprise authentication strategy, helping transition from a primarily workforce-focused MFA program to a broader application-level authentication program across the enterprise.?Assess the current authentication landscape and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement across applications, platforms, and user populations.?Develop and maintain authentication roadmaps that align with business priorities, cybersecurity objectives, and regulatory requirements.?Evaluate emerging authentication technologies, industry trends, and security best practices, bringing thought leadership and recommendations to senior leadership teams.?Partner closely with security, infrastructure, application, architecture, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to define and implement authentication standards and requirements.?Drive initiatives related to MFA modernization, passwordless authentication, passkey adoption, identity proofing, and other advanced authentication capabilities.?Ensure authentication controls meet evolving regulatory and compliance obligations, including NYDFS and other North American privacy and security requirements.?Conduct strategic reviews of existing authentication capabilities, identify control deficiencies, and build business cases for enhancements, new tooling, or process improvements.?Create executive-ready documentation, presentations, and recommendations that clearly articulate risks, gaps, priorities, and proposed solutions.?Act as the subject matter expert for authentication and identity assurance, providing guidance to project teams and influencing enterprise-wide identity security decisions.?Collaborate with technology and business leaders to establish a long-term vision for authentication services, ensuring the organization remains secure, compliant, and aligned with industry-leading IAM practices.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
