Position Overview:The Medical Director provides clinical leadership and direct patient care within an outpatient primary care setting focused on serving individuals living with HIV/AIDS. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, overseeing clinical outcomes, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic conditions.Diagnose, treat, and develop ongoing care plans for HIV-positive patients in accordance with current clinical guidelines.Manage a daily patient panel of approximately 15-18 patients while maintaining quality care standards.Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including nurses, case managers, behavioral health providers, and specialists.Serve as a clinical resource and leader for providers and support staff.Support implementation of evidence-based treatment protocols and best practices for HIV care.Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, and compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities.Provide patient education related to HIV management, prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management.Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Stay current on emerging HIV treatments, therapies, and clinical guidelines.Our mission is to provide cutting edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay.
