We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the integration, testing, and deployment of advanced airborne and shipboard communications systems for defense and aerospace applications. This role is focused on bringing complex systems together across software, hardware, networking, RF, and mission-system domains to ensure seamless operational performance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting system integration, verification and validation (V&V), troubleshooting, and platform deployments in lab, test, and operational environments.The Systems Engineer will work closely with software, hardware, and program teams to develop integration plans, execute system-level testing, analyze requirements, and resolve technical issues across multiple subsystems. Responsibilities include supporting platform integration efforts aboard aircraft and maritime platforms, conducting verification and acceptance testing, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring mission-critical communication capabilities meet performance and customer requirements.Qualified candidates should have experience with communications systems, tactical networks, SATCOM, RF technologies, and systems engineering processes. Experience supporting airborne, naval, ISR, mission systems, datalink, or other defense communication programs is highly desired. An employer is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced airborne mission systems for a defense program. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment focused on requirements development, system architecture, functional decomposition, and technical planning to ensure complex systems are designed to meet customer and mission needs.You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, customers, and program leadership to capture and manage requirements, develop system-level architectures, define interfaces, and allocate requirements across hardware, software, RF, and mission system components. Responsibilities include supporting technical reviews, requirements traceability, risk management, trade studies, and the development of system specifications and engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.This position requires an active DoD security clearance and is ideal for an engineer with experience in systems engineering, requirements management, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), architecture development, and technical leadership within complex defense or aerospace programs. This person will be doing standard technical support ranging from troubleshooting Microsoft related issues, general user access issues, network connectivity, hardware swaps, PC setup, and other IT support responsibilities. Candidates must have strong communication, high sense of urgency, and excellent customer service experience.? They also must feel confident working in an environment without a lot of training or guidance ? this isn?t always with a team. Must have experience with hands-on experience repairing and/or working with computer hardware and troubleshooting some software.
