We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of large-scale, distributed, event-driven systems. This role requires deep hands-on technical expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to lead and influence multiple engineering teams delivering mission-critical platforms at scale.The ideal candidate has extensive experience modernizing legacy systems, designing cloud-native microservices, and driving architectural standards across complex domains such as order management, supply chain, or e-commerce platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale, distributed microservice platforms.Design and govern event-driven architectures using Kafka, CDC patterns, and workflow orchestration.Lead architectural decision-making, design reviews, and technical governance across multiple teams.Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to define scalable, multi-tenant solutions.Drive legacy modernization efforts, including mainframe-to-cloud migrations.Establish standards for reliability, performance, security, and scalability.Mentor senior engineers and architects; provide technical leadership across teams of 15+ engineers.Ensure solutions align with enterprise platform standards, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native principles.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. This role focuses on backend engineering, distributed systems, data integrity, and high-performance APIs in a regulated healthcare environment.The engineer will contribute to modernization initiatives, performance optimization, platform reliability, and cloud-native architecture evolution. Key Responsibilities? Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot? Build and optimize REST and/or GraphQL APIs serving high-throughput workloads? Design efficient data models using RDBMS (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)? Implement asynchronous workflows using Kafka or event-driven architecture? Optimize SQL queries and improve system latency and throughput? Participate in architectural design discussions and technical planning? Write unit, integration, and performance tests (JUnit, Testcontainers, etc.)? Ensure production readiness through logging, monitoring, and observability practices? Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments?
