Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Telecommunications Administrator to manage and support the hospital?s enterprise voice and communication systems in a 24/7 healthcare environment. This role is responsible for the reliability, security, and performance of VoIP, PBX, call center, and paging systems that support clinical operations and patient communication.The ideal candidate has hands-on telecom experience, strong vendor coordination skills, and is comfortable operating in a mission-critical hospital setting.Responsibilities:? Administer and support enterprise telecommunications systems: ? VoIP, PBX, voicemail, call recording, call center platforms? Configure and optimize: ? SIP trunks, dial plans, call routing, extensions? Monitor system performance and troubleshoot telecom issues? Apply firmware updates, patches, backups, and system changes? Serve as primary point of contact for telecom vendors and service providers? Partner with network and security teams to integrate voice systems with IT infrastructure? Support and train end users across clinical and administrative departments? Maintain documentation: ? Call flow diagrams? System configurations? Telecom inventories? Generate reports on call volume, performance, and usage? Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, and hospital security policies? Support disaster recovery planning and emergency communication testing? They will be joining a team of 3 other engineers, who currently handle about 30 tickets a day.This is a day shift role supporting business operations working 8AM-5PM in their time zone. The position focuses on service requests, alert triage, and execution of documented processes, rather than deep application troubleshooting.________________________________________Key Responsibilities?Work within a high volume ITSM ticket queue (approximately 30 tickets per day per person initially, expected to decrease as team capacity grows)?Manage and fulfill service requests such as: oActive Directory group membership changesoNew hire onboarding tasksoAccess requests and standard operational actions?Monitor system and application alerts: oIdentify when an application or service is offlineoNotify appropriate teams or stakeholders per documented procedures (no root cause application troubleshooting required)?Execute pre written scripts from network file shares: oLocate the correct scriptoRun scripts accuratelyoEnter required information with precision and attention to detail?Follow documented processes carefully before taking action?Accurately document ticket updates, actions taken, and escalation paths?Determine when and to whom issues should be escalated?Maintain a high standard of accuracy due to manual and process driven workflowsCompensation:$20/hr to $22/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
