The Salesforce DevOps Engineer is a senior, hands-on technical leader within the Customer Experience Enterprise Apps Platform team. This role is responsible for the execution and operational excellence of Salesforce DevOps and release engineering practices across the platform.The position owns how changes are built, tested, versioned, promoted, and deployed through the DevOps lifecycle at scale. While Architecture defines non-functional requirements and technical standards, and Product and Admin functions define configuration and feature design, this role operationalizes those decisions through CI/CD design, deployment automation, environment promotion controls, and release reliability engineering. Success in this role depends on strong partnership with Product, Admin, and Architecture teams; ownership of delivery mechanics resides here, while solution intent and configuration authority remain with their respective functions.Through these partnerships this role will focus on eliminating manual processes, reducing variance across teams, and establishing secure, repeatable, and auditable delivery workflows.This is a senior engineering role focused on execution, standardization and operational reliability at the organizational level, not overall enterprise strategy. This role will be joining the Commercial IT team and will be working on a sales technology application specifically on the native mobile app. This application allows companies to place orders, track how trucks get to and from stores and be a centralized capability for managing communication and information down to the front line. This developer will work to design, build, and enhance native Android applications that perform reliably in offline / low-connectivity environments. This role will work and partner collaboratively with other mobile developer?s product owners, UI/UX Designer, backend developers and architects, and QE to deliver high-quality releases. A large part of the mobile app is implemented but it?s not fully certified and production ready yet. Features are about 80% done but has numerous bugs and additional features to be implemented. There is both an iOS and an Android application, the android app is written with Kotlin + android UI and iOS is written with Swift + iOS UI. The ideal candidate will be an expert with iOS and Swift or Android and Kotlin.
