Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee second‑shift shipping, receiving, and inventory operations while ensuring accurate ERP/WMS entry, managing Customs Bonded inventory, and supervising a team of approximately 40–50 team members to meet daily schedules and shipment throughput. This role partners closely with the Louisville Export Order Manager and freight forwarders to coordinate export, military, and refund stock orders while proactively resolving shipping exceptions. The Warehouse Team Lead applies strong planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations, leads process design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives, and communicates effectively across all levels of the organization. This role is highly team‑focused, emphasizing employee development, delegation to lead hourly associates, performance monitoring, and bench‑strength development. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining SOPs, optimizing warehouse space and configuration, ensuring inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits, serving as the WMS subject‑matter expert, and driving safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-5 years of distribution, manufacturing, or grocery distribution experience
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to supervise and develop teams
• Process‑driven mindset with a strong focus on SOP adherence and continuous improvement
• Experience managing inbound and outbound inventory control
• Ability to monitor, drive, and positively influence team performance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with System 21 ERP or Oracle
• Experience with manufacturing systems (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS)
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Supply Chain and Vendor Management experience
• Experience in the Alcohol Beverage, CPG, or grocery distribution industry
• Experience with three‑tier distribution systems
• Participation in CSCMP and/or ISM
