– Required Background: Prior experience working in shops and labs, showing comfort in continuing to work in those hands-on environments. – Key Tools: Experience with 3D CAD tools, specifically Uni Graphics NX.- Core Responsibilities and Scope – Highly hands-on role supporting the shop floor and labs rather than being desk-bound. – Act as the “eyes and the legs” on-site for engineers located in Erie, Brazil, and India. – Support daily shop operations and address issues as they arise. – Assist the lab with ongoing validation processes. – Work with senior engineers to support the completion of tests. – Provide engineering design support, which includes handling engineering change requests, reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs), releasing drawings, reviewing drawings with suppliers to ensure manufacturability, and opening CAD models. – Collaborate closely with design engineers, manufacturing technicians, test engineers, and sourcing teams.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of communication services, including VoIP, PBX, and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting telecom-related issues, supporting phone and voicemail systems, assisting with upgrades and implementations, and partnering with internal IT teams, vendors, and end users to resolve service concerns.
