The Technical Product Owner – Workday will lead and participate in the business solution analysis, testing, implementation and ongoing support activities for Finance and HCM Integrations. The primary responsibilities emphasize business analysis plus coordinating and leading testing, training and support of new and existing Finance/Talent processes and tools.The percent of time allocation for management, business analysis, testing and support varies by project assignments and individual experience. This variation in primary responsibilities will be reflected in performance goals.Functional/Technical Business Analysis ? includes the following:. Research, document and interpret functional requirements for enhancements to existing integrations/processes orimplementation of new tools/processes. Design the integrations and data flows in/out of Workday. Establish and manage relationships with Finance/Talent subject matter experts and Digital Solutions. Lead development of documentation including process flows, knowledge documents, and training materials. Identify and follow up to gain decisions on potential changes in scope and requirementsTesting ? includes the following:. Test case design. Scheduled and ad hoc testing and maintenance of existing integrations and business processes. Act as a Workday tester as new technology tools are developed and evaluated. Complete testing for Workday integrations requiring UAT testing and signoff. Document and sharing testing resultsSupport ? includes the following:. Assess the need for change and develop solutions to solve business problems. Issue identification and follow up with the engagement teams and other escalations as necessary. Escalation point for Level 3 support ticket follow up when assigned including communications and alignment with Digital SolutionsLeadership activities and other duties including:. Mentoring of Digital Solutions Team Members. Build and leverage internal and external networks. Actively contributing to the development and improvement of Workday team processes. The Solutions Architect is a highly proficient, hands-on solution architect for custom solutions.This role ownsend-to-end microservice and API architecture for assigned solutions,defines Domain-Driven Design boundaries and event-driven patterns on Azure Service Bus,and sets engineering standards across React frontend and .NET/Python backend teams.The role operates with growing autonomy across the custom solutions estate and represents designs in architecture reviews.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate business and product requirements into end-to-end solution designs for RSM custom solutions spanning multiple frontend and backend services.Design microservice and API architectures for custom-built solutions; define service boundaries using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.Architect event-driven integration patterns using Azure Service Bus; define message schemas, topic/subscription models, and error-handling strategies.Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices across frontend (React) and backend (.NET / Python) teams.Ensure non-functional requirements (security, scalability, resiliency, observability) are embedded into all solution designs.Lead architecture and design reviews for new features, technical initiatives, and third-party integrations within assigned solutions.Produce and maintain architecture decision records (ADRs), high-level design (HLD) documents, and API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger).Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering leads to shape technical roadmaps.Provide technical mentorship to senior engineers and conduct design and code reviews.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
