This role performs upfront fact-finding by asking the right, brand-specific questions, such as property type, design theme, build-to and ship-to locations, ADA room requirements, and preferred schemes. The quoting specialist creates and manages job numbers, maintains an accurate quote log in Excel and Epicor, and assigns each request to the appropriate quoter while tracking progress. All client communication is handled primarily via email, requiring strong written communication and attention to detail. Internally, the role works closely with a team of approximately five quoters to coordinate assignments and ensure requests are properly documented and routed. The position demands strong organizational skills and the ability to turn a high volume of incoming requests into a structured, well-managed workflow, including monitoring related quoting and samples emails. Clients are supported by designated project managers, who may forward replacement or follow-up requests to the quoting team.
