Insight Global Releases Annual Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Impact Report

Insight Global today announced its 2023 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Impact Report highlighting the company’s dedication to making a positive impact on its people, communities, and the planet. This annual report gives a detailed look at the company’s commitment and progress towards its environmental and social priorities. Insight Global believes that investing in these key areas is not only its corporate responsibility, but also leads to better employee engagement and business growth.

“We believe ESG, when done correctly and when done for the right reasons, can fuel your growth,” said Bert Bean, CEO. “Not only is it just the right thing to do, but ESG gives you the opportunity to engage your employees in a beautiful way.”

Highlights of the report include:

  • Donating $3,801,378.16 to charity partners through funds raised by employees through the company’s Be the Light fund.
  • Awarding the company’s 500th grant through the Insight Global Family Foundation (IGFF). The Foundation, created by Insight Global employees, provides funds up to $10k for Insight Global employees and consultants experiencing financial hardships due to unplanned events—with no expectation of repayment.
  • Serving 100,000 medical patients in Central America and East Africa through the company’s partnership with OneWorld Health. OneWorld Health’s mission is to bring quality, sustainable healthcare to underserved communities around the globe. Insight Global started its partnership with OneWorld Health in 2020 in alignment with the company’s purpose to “be the light” to the world and has since funded the opening of seven medical clinics across the globe.
  • Partnering with Watershed to implement a carbon accounting platform to maximize the company’s decarbonization efforts. This investment and partnership distinguishes Insight Global as an industry leader in prioritizing sustainability goals.
  • Sponsoring 80 H-1B visas to qualified job seekers through the company’s Pathway to Citizenship Program in pursuit of a goal of 500 by the end of 2025. This program was created to enhance the experience of qualified consultants seeking employment and provides direct support though their journey to citizenship.
  • Impacting over 5,000 individuals through the company’s social impact programming including the Be the Light Tour, a full-service mobile career event series. The Tour’s mission is to empower and serve communities by providing direct access to job-readiness resources and career-building strategies.
  • Hiring at least 30% of 2023 hires from populations identified as underrepresented, helping the staffing leader to create a more inclusive workforce.
  • Increasing women in executive leadership roles with the addition of Chi Nguyen, Chief Financial Officer, and Penny Collins, IT Chief of Staff. The company also appointed Kara Hollis, Vice President at Leonard Green & Partners, to its Board of Directors. As a company made up of approximately 65% women, Insight Global invests heavily in programs designed to support womens’ careers at every stage, from mentorship and leadership opportunities through the Women’s Leadership Council to a robust parental leave program designed to support families through every season of life.

“To us, ESG is our Shared Values in action,” said Jenny Sabo, Vice President of ESG, HR, and Communications. “It’s the product of our shared responsibility to give back and to leave people and places better than how we found them. We’re committed to ESG because we cherish the responsibility and the opportunity to activate our culture.”
