Ground Breaking in Kyenjojo, Uganda

(ATLANTA) — Insight Global and OneWorld Health are excited to announce the official ground breaking of Insight Global’s outpatient care facility, the Grit Medical Center, in Kyenjojo, Uganda.

The Grit Medical Center will provide a full scope of medical services that are designed to be affordable and accessible to everyone in the local district of Kyenjojo.

According to OneWorld Health, in a district with over 300,000 people, there is currently only one hospital, three inpatient care facilities, and 17 outpatient care facilities.

“We are beyond excited to witness the groundbreaking in Kyenjojo, for the first ever Grit Medical Center,” said Kenneth Szwech, Insight Global’s Director of Philanthropy. “This is the first of many steps working alongside OneWorld Health to bring quality and sustainable healthcare around the world.”

Once completed, the facility will span 4,500 square feet and is estimated to be completed by end of 2021. OneWorld Health anticipates treating over 5,000 patients in the first year of opening, and 100,000 patients in the first decade.

OneWorld Health is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides quality, affordable healthcare to critically underserved communities around the world.

By partnering with OneWorld Health we are ensuring that this facility will be a place of healing in the community for generations.

Insight Global Chief Operations Officer, Tim Stutz, first announced the company’s partnership with OneWorld Health in January 2020 at a company conference in Dallas, Texas. Since then, Insight Global has raised over $640,000 for OneWorld Health.
