A Distribution Designer will assist with plans and prepare detailed drawings using information from rough sketches, detailed engineering notes or brief verbal guidance. This position will work on various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients. This is on the distribution modernization team, so project focus will all surround electric utility clients.- Assist in a full range of drawing production work.- Produce project deliverables in an efficient and budget conscious manner.- Assist with CAD drawing production and project execution.- Printing, scanning and submitting drawing packages.- Maintain high CAD proficiency and mastery of current CAD systems.- Effectively use multiple application packages where necessary.- Review and adhere to project scope, schedule and budget.- Identification of priority tasks and implementing plans of execution.- Communicate with team and management workload.- Maintain record of client or company CAD standards.- Provide quality feedback of work.- Assist in the QA/QC process.- Performs other duties as assigned.- Complies with all policies and standards.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are seeking an experienced Staff or Senior Structural Designer to support large-scale Gas & Heavy Industrial (GHI) and power generation projects across the United States. This role will serve as a project-level lead designer, responsible for hands-on 3D structural modeling as well as coordination, quality control, and technical oversight of domestic and international design resources. The ideal candidate brings strong 3D structural design experience, a deep understanding of industrial structures, and the ability to work effectively in a BIM-driven environment.Key Responsibilities3D Modeling & Design? Develop detailed 3D structural models including:? Equipment foundations? Pipe racks? Industrial buildings? Structural steel framing? Create 2D deliverables from 3D models, including:? Structural plans, sections, and elevationsFoundation and rebar drawings? Steel framing and connection details Quality Control & BIM Oversight? Perform comprehensive QA/QC reviews of models and drawings? Ensure models comply with internal standards and project specifications? Run and review model reports (attributes, structure names, design areas, construction work areas, etc.)? Verify BIM data integrity and consistency across deliverables Project Types?
