A client of Insight Global is seeking a contract Software Engineer to support the delivery of high impact software across a mix of front end development, Python back end/API work, and C3 (C3 AI) platform development. In this role, you will partner closely with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical, working solutions in a fast paced, delivery focused environment. Responsibilities include building and enhancing modern web UI features with a focus on usability and performance, designing and implementing Python services, APIs, and integrations, developing and configuring solutions on the C3 platform, and participating across the full software development lifecycle from design through production support. Responsible for administering multiple PI environments, including point creation, compression tuning, AF and analysis configuration, performance optimization, and PI Vision display updates. Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and participate in an on call rotation, leveraging monitoring tools and automation where possible. Act as the PI system product owner by managing the roadmap, lifecycle upgrades, and vendor support while partnering closely with plant operations and transformation teams to gather requirements and support new and existing integrations. The Senior Safety Coordinator supports environmental and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement across the facility.Key Responsibilities:- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations; lead internal audits and support external inspections.- Reporting & Metrics: Track and report plant-wide EHS metrics; submit required permits and compliance documentation on time; drive accountability on action plans.- Documentation: Maintain and improve EHS procedures, systems, and records to align with regulatory and company standards.- Training & Support: Train employees on EHS policies and best practices; promote safety awareness; support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) processes.- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety performance and compliance.- Emergency Preparedness: Support development and testing of emergency response plans related to environmental and safety risks.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
