We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at a large coal-fired power generation facility. This role is responsible for overseeing plant operations, ensuring safe and reliable power production, coordinating maintenance activities, and leading a team of plant operators to meet system demand. As a key leader within the plant, you’ll oversee shift operations, mentor and develop operators, and work closely with maintenance, environmental, and system control teams to maximize unit reliability and performance. In the absence of senior plant leadership, you’ll provide oversight of plant operations and serve as the primary decision-maker on shift. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and direct hourly power plant operations to ensure reliable generation and system demand requirements are met.Supervise and support plant operators, including task assignment, performance management, training, and employee development.Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is available, properly operated, and prepared for outages and repairs.Monitor plant equipment performance, identify operational issues, and take corrective action to maintain safe and efficient operations.Partner with Electric System Control to manage unit outages and maintain electrical system reliability.Oversee fuel and coal handling operations to ensure continuous and dependable unit performance.Support environmental compliance efforts and ensure adherence to all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.Foster a positive team culture through coaching, communication, accountability, and leadership.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. The Monitoring Administrator is responsible for licensing child care facilities, monitoring initial and ongoing compliance, and enforcing child care laws and health and safety regulations for a variety of licensed child care facilities in assigned management region. Region assignments include a variety of facility types across numerous counties in the state. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external architectural partners, ensuring design standards, project schedules, permitting requirements, and partner specifications are met throughout the project lifecycle.This role combines architectural project management, consultant coordination, permitting oversight, and stakeholder communication.
