Insight Global is looking to add a Junior Staff Accountant to their client?s finance team. This person will assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry and transaction processing while preparing and posting basic journal entries. They will support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and accruals, and perform bank and account reconciliations by researching and resolving variances. The largest dairy supplier in the US is looking to add Transportation Planner to their Logistics team. Joining a team of 5, this individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of Dairy Powders across the US. Mostly dealing with dry van load coordination, the ideal candidate will be responsible for all load planning activities. This includes tracking sales and transfer orders, managing deliveries through TMS and ERP systems, and scheduling carriers for pickup/delivery. Additional job duties include:Plan and prepare schedules that balance all parties? (member, customer) needs with planned load efficiency and profitabilityEnsure all transactions are tracked and accurately recorded in the appropriate systems. Reconcile assigned transactions (pickups/receipts) with customers, haulers, members, etc., dailyEnsure plant managers/staff, suppliers, customers, and haulers have properly documented, reported, and or entered all product and freight data required in the systemsMay negotiate contract terms and rates with carrier base, understanding current contracts and defined internal parameters to work withinSupport on-time delivery problem solving and performance improvements with customers; actively communicate with all impacted parties to discover solutions to various issues, such as the shipment of wrong product, excess or deficit of product, missed delivery time or date, etc.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
