Schedule manpower, material, and equipment for construction projects in a shipyard environment.Review project hours and provide status updates of project informationRequest Material quotes for requisitions, order material, generate hand take off as necessary.Manage project costs to maintain profitability.Schedule and attend AHJ Inspections. This includes pressure testing and final inspections.Plan and schedule training sessions for installation technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.Communicate daily with the installation technicians to ensure project(s) progress and address any issues promptly.Communicate project status with Marine Install Manager.Support monthly project reviews with department leadership and accounting to assess project performance and recommendations for improvement as needed.Attend weekly construction kick-off meetings.Ensure installation technicians comply with all safety procedures.Conduct safety audits to identify potential hazards and make recommendations for corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.Ensure all installations meet all code and regulatory requirements. Make recommendations for improvement as needed.Collaborate with leadership to conduct job walks with the sales team to assess project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates for quotes.Collaborate with the Design department by conducting flow tests and surveys to support project planning and execution.Other duties as assigned.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Insight Global is looking for an L2 to L4 Planner/Scheduler to join our aerospace and defense client to support a large-scale aviation maintenance and aircraft sustainment programme. This position is responsible for managing highly detailed, resource-loaded project schedules within Microsoft Project while coordinating closely with maintenance, production, engineering, and program teams. This role will be located onsite 5 days/week in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Insight Global is seeking a Operations Technician III to support a large telecommunications organization responsible for delivering, activating, and migrating IP-based network services for enterprise and carrier customers. This individual will be responsible for executing network implementations, performing logical service builds, supporting service migrations, and ensuring successful customer turn-ups through adherence to approved implementation procedures.The ideal candidate will have experience working in a production network environment, executing IP service configurations, performing circuit grooming activities, and coordinating directly with customers during maintenance windows and migrations.
