A water treatment facility in Louisiana is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to manage the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of systems utilizing pressure filtration and reverse osmosis (RO) processes. This role ensures treated water meets all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements while maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This is a full-time position that will require shift work and participation in an on-call rotation (7 days on, 7 days off, night shift). Shifts will be 12-hours, and consultants will be paid 1.5x overtime for hours above 40/week. This role is responsible for leading and managing the scheduling function across complex shipbuilding programs, ensuring project timelines are developed, maintained, and executed effectively.The ideal candidate will have strong people management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate scheduling teams while collaborating closely with production, planning, and project leadership. A high level of proficiency in Primavera P6 is required, as this role will oversee the development, maintenance, and analysis of detailed project schedules to support on-time delivery.Prior shipbuilding scheduling experience is strongly preferred, with an understanding of how production sequencing, material availability, and labor constraints impact overall schedules. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating all piping activities across multiple large-scale projects, ensuring that work orders and work packages are accurately developed and executed.
