Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Engineer sitting in Rayville, LA. This role is working on the owners side of a mega capital project, greenfield new Project Generation project. As a key member of the Project Management team, the Project Engineer is responsible for the management and coordination of all technical aspects of new power generation capital projects. This role ensures that engineering is aligned with corporate goals and is complete, accurate and constructible for all elements of a project’s scope. The Project Engineer oversees contractor’s engineering performance and coordinates all contractor and owner’s engineering interfaces in addition to ensuring projects are completed according to project construction drawings and in accordance with project specifications, quality, and performance requirements. This position is responsible for coordinating efforts of cross-functional teams and building effective relationships with key internal/external stakeholders, including contractors. Insight Global is seeking a Site Project Scheduler to join a top energy company in Shreveport, LOU, supporting the engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple hyperscale, mission-critical data centers across the United States. This person will be responsible for helping all planning and scheduling activities across Data Center projects. This person helps aid in the development, maintenance, and analyzation of integrated project schedules, ensuring accurate visibility of progress, critical paths, and forecasted completion. They will establish and maintain the overall project schedule covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, lead schedule development in Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project work breakdown structure (WBS) and execution strategy, conduct critical path, float, and what-if analyses to support project decisions and identify recovery opportunities, coordinate weekly and monthly updates, integrating progress from contractors, vendors, and internal functions, validate reported progress against actual site performance and milestones, prepare and issue schedule performance reports, including variance explanations and forecast completion dates, support change management by evaluating schedule impacts of scope or sequence changes, provide mentoring and guidance to schedulers and planners to maintain consistency and quality of schedule data.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Key Responsibilities?Implement, manage, and enforce the project?s Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).?Conduct daily site safety inspections in accordance with USACE EM 385 1 1 standards and maintain all required documentation.?Lead daily Safety/Toolbox Talks and facilitate weekly safety meetings.?Identify, document, and mitigate jobsite hazards; ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.?Maintain safety logs, training records, equipment inspection reports, and incident documentation.?Monitor subcontractor safety performance to ensure full compliance with Federal and project specific safety requirements.?Assist with incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans.?Coordinate with the Quality Control Manager and Site Superintendent regarding risk mitigation and field operations.?Enforce proper PPE use and adherence to all safety procedures.?Serve as the primary point of contact for safety matters with the Government (USACE/NAVFAC) and internal project stakeholders.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
