Relevant CSA inspection experience often includes steel, civil, concrete, and quality documentation activities.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily field inspections of concrete, underground utility, structural steel, roofing, and architectural installations.Verify work is performed in accordance with client standards, design drawings, specifications, quality plans, and applicable industry codes.Monitor subcontractor workmanship and identify any deficiencies, non-conformances, or quality concerns.Complete inspection reports, checklists, punch lists, and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Prepare and maintain daily reports detailing construction progress, inspections performed, observations, and corrective actions.Review material deliveries and verify compliance with approved submittals and project requirements.Coordinate with construction management, engineering, contractors, and quality teams to resolve field issues.Witness and document testing activities, including concrete placement, utility installations, steel erection, and roofing inspections.Track corrective actions and verify deficiencies have been resolved prior to work acceptance.Maintain organized turnover packages, inspection records, and quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Support client audits, quality reviews, and project closeout activities.Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions observed in the field.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in construction inspection, quality control, or quality assurance.Experience inspecting one or more of the following disciplines: concrete, civil/site work, underground utilities, structural steel, or roofing.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Strong understanding of construction means and methods.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction documentation platforms.Excellent written communication and documentation skills.Ability to work independently in an active construction environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience on industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, data center, or large commercial construction projects.Certifications such as ACI, ICC, AWS-CWI, NICET, or other quality-related credentials.Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.Knowledge of quality control procedures, turnover packages, and commissioning support.
