This is a newly created leadership role tied to organizational growth and the need for stronger management across the Coding and Health Information Management teams. This person will oversee day-to-day operations for a team of coders and HIM staff, with a heavy focus on people leadership, performance management, productivity tracking, accountability, and creating a more structured team culture.This is not a production coding role. The ideal candidate does not need to be the strongest coder in the room, but they should understand coding and revenue cycle operations well enough to earn credibility with the team, roll out process changes, understand coding trends, and partner with technical coding subject matter experts.
