The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site’s gas or chemical equipment. They will ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution. The Technician will support and lead the technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment of various types and vendors. The individual will also be involved in project and sustaining operations, Basic Safety Processes, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training. They will support installing, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing all EMD Electronics Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems gas systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, Air Liquide Gas, and Chemical systems. The individual must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems, as well as performing complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment. Technicians work on systems and maintain the supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen TV’s. Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:? Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers?
