This lead will be joining the Security and Infrastructure team and will be working heavily with the Data and AI team. This role will be overseeing AI and data security. Specifically, they have Varonis in their environment, and they are looking to implement Microsoft Purview. This role will work heavily with the data team to implement purview in a way that they can apply the right security controls. As of now Varonis is owned by the security team and purview is owned by the Data and AI team. This lead will be the person to own the enforcement of data protection based on the labeling for purview. They will come up with the policies, to implement data protections for purview and see if purview can replace Varonis eventually (not anytime soon). This role will craft, design, and implement the technical policies. They may do some crafting delegations to scripts, playbooks and possibly some agentic workflows which is why they want someone with a programming background. The ideal candidate will be experienced enough in this realm to lead the implementation and delegate to a 3rd party and continue to oversee/ own it.
