Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support a hospital’s accounting team in Alexandria, VA. This is a newly created role reporting into the Accounting Manager, with a strong mix of hands-on accounting and team oversight. They will be joining a team that consists of 8 accountants and 2 accounting assistants. This position will oversee month-end close processes, review financials for accuracy, and manage a team of ~7 (direct + shared reports). The ideal candidate comes from a public accounting background, brings strong GAAP knowledge, and has experience leading teams while effectively delegating work. This individual should be intellectually curious, communicative, and able to operate at a high level, ensuring work is completed accurately without needing to execute every task themselves. Experience with Workday and healthcare accounting is highly preferred.Responsibilities:? Oversee and review month-end close processes, including accruals and financial estimates?
