This position will require this consultant to be onsite one day per week in Hartford but may require additional on-site support due to project needs. This company is currently undergoing multiple upgrade projects for mission-critical applications including their child welfare system. There is currently a multi-faceted agency wide outcome measure improvement plan set in place for these upgrades. Due to this upgrade project, they are in need of an Automation Tester to join their team. This is a hands on testing position and will have a specific focus on helping the team ensure the new systems are built in a way that best ensures functional requirements are met and future performance, scalability, maintainability, and security for now and for the future is also achievable. A large portion of this position will be centered around automated testing of large-scale distributed systems, applications, and solutions. This will include working on all test automation components of solution and creating and maintaining necessary technical documentation. They will assist in all testing processes involving the migration and integration of new and legacy technologies. They will need to generate products such as unit tests, automated functional tests, regression tests, load tests, code coverage reports, and test scenarios. They will be responsible for creating automated test case scenarios for the Agile Delivery Team to meet Acceptance Criteria, and interface with the design and implementation teams throughout the processes.
