Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Analyst to support a major utility client?s Hydroelectric Generation team. This role is a technical hybrid designed to bridge the gap between complex engineering workflows and actionable data solutions. You will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and integration of a diverse ecosystem of data systems used to monitor the health and performance of critical civil and linear assets, such as generators, canals, and tunnels. The successful candidate will possess the technical expertise to manage database architecture and the professional communication skills to collaborate directly with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical engineers to translate operational needs into automated, high-impact data products.Core ResponsibilitiesSystems Management & Data Integrity: Provide expert-level maintenance for the existing technical ecosystem, including Palantir Foundry, SAP, and Iris. The Data Management Associate (Planning Technician) will collect and manage data from facilities, wells, and equipment (like the model, manufacturer, performance, etc.). This person will use Excel load sheets to organize a large amount of data related to these categories, after collecting them from field personell. Then, the data goes to the services side, where it is analyzed and communicated to the service teams. In this role, folks will work primarily with Field personnel to get all of the data from each well, rig, machine, etc. each week. Overall, this team makes up the “business support” side of data for the company. This person will be working alongside the PM team, the Transactions Team (dealing with POs and invoices), and the Downhole team. Another large piece of this role will be using SAP to house all of the information as they collect it, as well as using SQL to create queries. They support all locations where this company operates, including TX, DW, NM, WY and CO. Overall, the team is looking for a detail oriented, team player who is committed to doing the right thing. In this role you will be required to multitask, and be a self-starter in a extremely fast paced environment. Candidates will needs to have basic knowledge and background in SAP, along with preferred skills in SQL and Excel. We prefer basic knowledge and understanding of Oil and Gas operations and equipment.
