A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Consultant to support the deployment, management, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise OpenShift and storage environments. This consultant will serve as a technical leader responsible for architecting and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift platforms while ensuring reliable, scalable, and highly available storage solutions through OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) and Ceph. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in OpenShift administration, cloud-native storage technologies, and distributed storage architectures, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide strategic guidance to customer stakeholders.The Senior Consultant will be responsible for OpenShift platform deployment and lifecycle management, including cluster installation, application deployment, upgrades, patching, networking, performance tuning, and operational support. Insight Global is seeking a contractor with hands-on AWS QuickSight experience to accelerate delivery of a dashboard initiative that queries a Redshift data warehouse for a transportation and logistics customer. This role is highly focused and requires someone who can quickly produce dashboards while transferring knowledge to internal team members (developers/analysts) so the capability can be sustained after the contract ends.The customer is based out of Mississauga, however, there is flexibility for a fully remote role in Canada working EST hours.Background/Context Our customer’s primary system runs on AWS and retains 18 months of data. They replicate data into an AWS Redshift data warehouse to retain approximately three years of history and support high-volume querying for analytics. The current initiative is to build dashboards on top of this warehouse using AWS QuickSight (an out-of-the-box AWS reporting/BI tool).
