Insight Global it seeking an Optimization Team Lead to support a federal client in Suffolk, VA. The Optimization Team Lead should be curious to learn new and complex technologies, have a drive to contribute to new ideas for future development, and be passionate about writing reliable, efficient, and maintainable code. You will be expected to build and improve large software by working with a Program Management, Project Management, and other Engineers by translating functional requirements into robust, scalable, and supportable solutions. You will participate in the full development lifecycle and actively troubleshoot issues in support of applications in production critical environments. You should be eager and willing to train new Associate Software Engineers and provide support to other Engineers on the team.As an Optimization Team Lead, you will also be expected to quickly learn and adapt to our development processes, practices, and environments. You will need to quickly dive into and glean an understanding of the system architecture and after time, be able to assist other Engineers and System Architects in providing suggestions to the overall design and direction of our system architecture.
