Insight Global is looking for a Technologist to support a large oil and gas client sitting in Downtown HTX. The Technologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical and operational support to Wells operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective execution of drilling and completions activities. This person will be supporting day-to-day well operations through robust data management, documentation control, scheduling support, and accurate reporting. They will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and planning teams to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and enhance overall operational efficiency. They will also be responsible for reviewing and managing the verification of field tickets, ensuring that every detail is accurate and compliant with companies established contracts and the contractors’ catalogs of services. They will support the field crews scheduling and ensures business continuity on field operations. This role is onsite Monday-Thursday. Responsible for the collection of data as specified for use by others in updating facilities records or preparing design documents. This position encompasses data collection, measurement, mapping, field photography, equipment or unit inventory, staking, and similar field-based reconnaissance at the direction of senior technical or engineering employees. This position will oftenwork with more senior employees acting as a design or staking assistant. Among the ? The incumbent will be an advocate of safety and participate in all safety initiatives ? Accurately and neatly gather data using paper drawings, forms, electronic data collection devices, digital cameras, or other formats and/or devices specified by the project manager and/or client. ? Quickly learn and apply technology tools such as hand-held data collection units, laser range finders, digital cameras, and GPS receivers. ?
