A defense company in the directed energy and high-energy laser systems space is looking to hire an Optical Technician to join their fast-paced team. This individual will support the assembly, integration, alignment, testing, and documentation of advanced laser and electro-optical systems, including optical, mechanical, electro-optical, and fiber-optic subsystems. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting components, mounting and bonding optics, performing optical alignments, constructing test fixtures, operating alignment and metrology equipment, maintaining cleanroom standards, troubleshooting system issues, generating work instructions and test documentation, supporting thermal management system assembly, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to meet program milestones. This role requires the ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and support occasional customer-site testing activities. The pay range for this position is $30-$45/hour based on experience. The position is 5 days/week onsite in Longmont, CO, and will be a 6-month contract to hire layout with the primary goal being permanent conversion. A well-established industrial manufacturing company is hiring a Manufacturing Analyst / Production Scheduler to play a critical role in production execution, material planning, and ERP process development. This position is open due to increased production volume, growing operational complexity, and the implementation of a new ERP system (Genius ERP).This individual will serve as the bridge between production, materials, engineering, and operations, ensuring schedules are realistic, materials are available, and work flows efficiently through the shop. The environment is fast-paced and constantly changing, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges and building processes.Approximately 50% of the role will focus on production scheduling, including creating and maintaining production schedules, balancing shop capacity, tracking work orders through fabrication and assembly processes, identifying bottlenecks, and coordinating priorities across departments. The remaining focus will be on materials planning, inventory analysis, reporting, and operational improvement initiatives.This role works directly with the Manufacturing Manager and senior leadership team, providing visibility into production performance and helping establish best practices as the company continues to scale. Candidates coming from startup, high-growth manufacturing, job-shop, steel fabrication, custom manufacturing, or ERP implementation environments will be especially successful. Exposure to Genius ERP is a plus but not required.This is a contract-to-hire position with long-term growth potential.
