Insight Global is seeking a Structural Engineer with 5 to 15 years of relevant engineering experience to join a leading AEC client in Denver, CO. We?re looking for an intelligent, collaborative person who leads and contributes to diverse multi-discipline projects. Projects will primarily be buildings and structures in the following areas:? Buildings for medical, justice, higher education, commercial, and data center facilities.? Government projects such as national parks, federal facilities, and military installations.? Municipal public works projects, including water / wastewater treatment, storage and distribution.? Resources and energy projects, including power, mining, oil and gas, and solid waste facilities. ? Transportation service facilities and transit structures.This individual will join a supportive, collaborative environment in which structural engineers are an important part of a multi-discipline project team. The team will influence decisions affecting cost, constructability, sustainability, material selection, safety, and life cycle. You will join a structural team of integrated, multi-discipline design teams comprised of electrical, mechanical, civil, environmental, and fire/life safety engineers; architects; and professionals and scientists from many other diverse disciplines from the inception of projects through the completion of construction.Responsibilities include:? Lead the structural design of buildings and civil structures for a variety of project types and construction materials and methods. ? Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews of structural designs at key milestone submittals.? Assist in project pursuits and provide detailed scopes and fees for projects. ? Prepare specifications and production of drawings (in collaboration with BIM designers) for construction documents.? Serve projects during construction by site visits, reviewing contractor submittals to ensure they meet design intent, and addressing construction issues. ? Participate in or lead assessments of existing structures.? Actively participate in multi-discipline team meetings, design charettes, client review workshops, and construction meetings. This is a 6-month contract to hire with an hourly pay range of $45-$74.52 pending background and experience. Insight Global is looking for an Oil and Gas Project Engineer to support a leading engineering client in Denver, CO. As the Oil and Gas Project Engineer, you will lead engineering duties for multi-disciplined natural gas pipelines, liquids pipelines, and facility projects as part of a rapidly expanding Oil & Gas program within the United States. Additionally, you will mentor younger engineering staff on the design codes and considerations in these fields. Typical projects could include pipeline mainline, trenchless installations, and/or associated facilities (i.e. metering / regulation, compression, over-pressure protection, and/or storage).Associated engineering duties could include reviewing and/or performing linear pipeline design and associated calculations, verifying code and standard compliance, quality checks, reviewing manufacturers drawings, preparing procurement specifications and construction documents, bid evaluations, conceptual design studies, report writing, selecting materials and equipment, observing construction, participating in project meetings, project permitting, and other similar tasks as assigned. On occasion, the position will be asked to manage task level efforts on projects and could function as a deputy Project Manager.The position will include travel for internal project team meetings, meetings with clients, contractors and vendors. Travel is typically less than 20% but will be based on current workload as well as a candidate?s preference. The Design Project Manager II oversees electric distribution design activities supporting wildfire mitigation and related infrastructure programs. This role is responsible for assigning, reviewing, and approving design work performed by internal teams and external vendors, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with a top utility client. This position does not perform hands-on design or signing off of designs. Pay is $60-70/hrKey Responsibilities? Lead and oversee electric distribution design from a system assembly and process perspective? Assign, track, review, and approve design work completed by vendors and design teams? Perform quality control (QC) and ensure adherence to specific design standards and processes? Provide design guidance, training, and technical advisement as needed? Coordinate and manage multiple external design vendors supporting wildfire mitigation work? Support the program?s transition toward a future design-build delivery model? Review and sign off on completed design packages prior to construction handoff? Manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and support purchase order (PO) coordination?
