An employer is looking for a Secret Configuration and Data Manager on a space sensing program supporting the DOD in El Segundo, CA. The Configuration and Data Manager will support a broad spectrum of CM functions, engaging with multiple teams, stakeholders, and government customers to aid in the delivery and sustainment of a complex system of systems. They will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting impacts to the technical baseline through technical reports and impact assessments and recommending solutions, mitigation, alternatives, and corrective actions at control board meetings. They will develop and manage program documents like Interface Control Documents (ICDs), program specs, Data Acquisition Lists (DALs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and technical orders. They will responsible for the government repository of all ICDs, Engineering Memos, Requirements Documents, and Spec Trees from all stakeholders. They will also facilitate and participate in government and program engineering review boards (ERBs) and change control boards (CCBs). We are seeking a skilled professional to design, implement, enhance, and troubleshoot observability artifacts. The ideal candidate will have experience building observability dashboards in Splunk, Datadog, or Grafana, and developing artifacts for monitoring system performance, reliability, and daily data processing, including APM, NPM, SNMP, JVM, and API performance. This role involves defining an observability strategy for cloud services, on-premises services, and WiFi hardware by researching architecture documents and release notes. Additionally, they will document release notes for all developed artifacts. Close collaboration with developers is required to integrate observability tools. The candidate will also contribute to revision control using Git, network performance monitoring, process automation through scripting in BASH and Python, and bring expertise in WiFi monitoring and analysis. The pay range for this role starts at $55/hr and ranges up depending on experience.
