Product Owner/Product Analyst

Denver, CO

An employer is looking for a Product Owner/Product Analyst to join one of our top Utility clients in the Nation. This Product Owner will be supporting to Operations Products that are custom-built Agile applications operating in live, operations-heavy environments. The Renewable Operations Center is a centralized, 24/7 command center responsible for monitoring and controlling wind farms, solar farms, and battery storage sites across 26 locations, with expected growth to triple over the next three years. The ROC currently operates with highly manual processes and is actively working toward scalable, automated solutions.This role functions as a product tactician, blending elements of Product Owner, Product Analyst, and applied User Experience Research. The individual will work directly with end users, stakeholders, the Product Manager, designers, and delivery teams to translate operational needs into clear, delivery-ready backlog items.Important Role Clarification- This role owns the product backlog and story definition- This role does not own the product roadmap or strategic execution (roadmap ownership remains with the Product Manager)- This role is hands-on, execution-focused, and backlog-centric- This role supports rapid iteration cycles with releases approximately every six weeks- This role is highly collaborative and the team is awesome!!What a Typical Day Looks Like- Working sessions with ROC operators and OWM users to understand real-world workflows and constraints- Backlog refinement and story-mapping with Agile delivery teams- Translating user conversations into structured requirements and stories- Reviewing defects and enhancement requests from live environments- Supporting applied discovery and solution validation activities- Collaborating with designers, researchers, product leadership, and developers- Participating in weekly workshops and iteration ceremoniesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the face of the office, keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, and supporting leaders when they are onsite. While most employees are remote, the Denver office serves as an important collaboration hub for in-person meetings and visiting leaders. This is a fully onsite position with a strong focus on office coordination, hospitality, and administrative support. You will serve as the go-to person for daily office operations and leadership visits within a growing, professional environment. How quickly can you staff my open position?
